Since about 1980 I knew that God had called me into the ministry of the gospel. But I was hindered by certain circumstances and couldn't follow through. And so, for many years I felt that I needed to be patient and that God was preparing me for "his business" (Luke 2.49) by often hard life experiences. Some of those are as follows.
